Movements; the spirit of the era.

Etymology: “the spirit of the times” or “the spirit of the age” sums up the general cultural, intellectual, ethical, philosophical, and/or political climate within a Nation or even specific groups, along with the general ambiance, morals, sociocultural direction and mood associated with an era.

When we consider sociology, there are two types of event that are unfolding with time and which corresponds to the actual intellectual capabilities or current state of mind.
(1) Expected Events: whether organized by politics, businesses, organizations or communities themselves, these events are deliberate and they are aiming at specific goals even though the real purpose is sometimes not made so clear to the public.
(2) Unexpected Events: sudden activity whether natural outcomes or manmade episodes involving large groups of people and that no one had planned. The result of this type of events can only be seen afterward, once it is over, then they are regarded as Historical Events. An earthquake unfolds very fast and its consequences are immediately visible. Segments of evolutionary progression are developing gradually and its repercussions take longer to discern.

Social movements are segments to the general evolutionary progression. When one develops itself, it is a very powerful dynamic that can not be hindered. When efforts are made trying to stop its progression, it simply turns at other avenues and the risks to it becoming unstable are increasing. Therefore, a social movement is like a tidal wave.

The French Revolution is an example to that. From 1789 to 1799, it was a period of radical social and political upheaval in French history. French society underwent an epic transformation as feudal, aristocratic and religious privileges evaporated under a sustained assault from liberal political groups and the masses on the streets. Old ideas about hierarchy and tradition succumbed to new Enlightenment principles of citizenship and inalienable rights. Tensions between the social movement and conservative monarchy intent on thwarting major reforms did lead to violence. However, the Republic was proclaimed in September 1792 and King Louis XVI was executed the next year. The absolute monarchy that had ruled France for centuries collapsed in three years.

In almost the same manner, the English Revolution (UK) was the final act in the long process of reform and consolidation by Parliament, to achieve a balanced constitutional monarchy in Britain. And then laws were made that pointed towards freedom.

Wars are different because they were intentional, planned, and organized by politics: American war of independence (1775-1782), the 1st (1914-1919) and the 2nd (1939-1945) world wars.

On the other hand, implementation of the economic system (monetary system, from 1950s to nowadays) was gradual and happened almost by itself before anyone decided to govern it. With time, its numerous ramifications became the Regime under which everyone on the planet is living today.

This past decade we have been witnessing materialization of several intentions or aspirations that had developed among the populations worldwide. Certain strong desires or ambitions that seam to be related to ending secrecy one way or another. Whether it is “freedom of information” or “freedom of people”, corresponding events are all deriving from integrity requests by the populations everywhere.

Today we realize there are so many of these,
we can identify a chain of events:

– 1993; The Disclosure Project (Dr. Steven M. Greer).

– 2001; The Teen Age Message (TAM), a message written by teenagers in Russia was transmitted, from the Yevpatoria Planetary Radar, to 6 nearby Sun-like stars.

– 2001; The Chilbolton Response Event, and increase Crop Circles information (Colin Andrews).

– 2004; The X-Conferences (1st; in April, Washington DC, US.).

– 2005; Exopolitics project and Paradigm Research Group (Steve Bassett, executive director).

– 2006; “An Inconvenient Truth”, documentary film directed by Davis Guggenheim.

– 2007; Government X-Files release to public domain (Europe, Denmark, Brazil, UK).

– 2007; “Zeitgeist”, video document (1st. video, Zeitgeist Movement).

– 2007; Major Economical Crisis (monetary system).

– 2008; “Meat The Truth”, video document presented by Marianne Thieme (leader of the Party For The Animals, Netherlands).

– 2009 “Home”, video document by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

– 2010; W i k i – l e a k s  operations, sensible politics information transmitted to 5 Newspapers.
Extensive widespread utilization of social network media.

– 2010; “Zeitgeist Addendum”, video document (2nd video, Zeitgeist Movement).
The Venus Project (Jacque Fresco) becomes known to the general public.

– 2011; “Zeitgeist Moving Forward”, video document (3rd video, Zeitgeist Movement).

– 2011; Middle-East social liberation movement (Tunisia) spreading to adjacent Arab countries.

I am not saying these significant events have been inspired or triggered by Outer Foreigners. However, quite evidently the series started with the Disclosure Project in background, the Teen Age Message (TAM) and the Chilbolton response. Together, these are very much self-explanatory. What would you say if you learn your own kids took the phone and called the police saying they are in trouble and they need help?

That decade (2000-2010) could easily be divided into two segments: before and after 2005. The fact is there is a clear progression in these events and it is related to people freeing themselves from existing concealment. Everything is connected with people petitioning to end the secrecy that allows governing establishments to maintain some kind of dictatorship over the masses. Whether it is governments keeping away information about outer foreigners, or investors hiding environmental impacts of economic growth, or a ruling party imposing constraints on its population, it is always a form of absolute power exercised by domineering or overbearing individuals.

Let us not be duped though: appearances are misleading! In order to get genuine complete liberation or autonomy on all levels, releasing measures will eventually need be applied much more deeper. Does that mean we are to witness more events heading in that direction?
Probably, hopefully.

This kind of profound social changes does not happen overnight. History shows the process require years to unfold. It took at least a decade to go from Disclosure to Middle-East social liberation movements.

If the first decade (2000 to 2010) could be named “The Disclosure Era”, perhaps the second one (2011 to 2020) could be anticipated as “The Relieve Era”.

Time will tell…

“We have reached a point in our civilization where for us to go forward as a people we are going to have to end [institutional secrecy], for allowing information and available technologies to get out and begin to fix the many large problems [our current Regime is facing] worldwide.”.
Dr. Steven M. Greer, The Disclosure Project.

Thanks to those who are dedicating their life, literally,
for the advancement of humanism!
